Application

The 2024 Deitch Fellowship Application is now live. Due Monday, January 29, 6:00pm. 

Eligibility

  • Current seniors, juniors, and sophomores are eligible to apply.  
  • Students who applied to the Deitch Fellowship in the past but were not accepted are eligible to apply again. 
  • Students who were accepted and served as a Deitch Fellow in the past are not eligible to apply again, to ensure the opportunity is available to as many students as possible.

January

  • Information Sessions (attendance optional)
    • Wednesday, January 10, W-Block, Library Electronic Classroom
    • Wednesday, January 17, 2:30pm, Library Electronic Classroom
    • Monday, January 22, 2:30pm, Library Electronic Classroom
  • Application Deadline
    • Monday, January 29, 6:00pm

February

  • First round interviews with DLI Director: January 30 - February 16
  • Second round interviews with organizations (if selected): February 19 - March 8

March

  • Offers extended by organizations following interviews

May

  • Fellow training and orientation: Dates TBD

June

  • First day of employment: Monday, June 24
    • Date subject to change per BPS calendar (snow dates) and host organization preferences.

August

  • Last day of employment: Friday, August 9
    • Date subject to change, depending on the start date. Fellowships are 7 weeks.
