Students are employed full time (M-F, 8-5) by a prominent Boston area organization for 7 weeks from late June to mid August.  Students will be supervised by a professional at the host organization, as well as the DLI Director.

Professional Development
Students will participate in professional development opportunities weekly by attending a "site visit" or field trip to each of the host organizations.  Led by the DLI Director, 2-3 organizations will be visited each week, usually Wednesdays.  Visits include a tour of the organization, presentations by managers/executive leaders, and advice about the professional world.  Reflections papers will supplement the learning. 

Educational Grant
Deitch Fellows receive a $2,000 educational grant.

Tasks will vary depending on the organization.  Every effort is made for projects to be varied and important, not menial.  Task vary yearly, but as a general reference, students can review last year's fellow projects here
